Parminder Sandhu has more than 25 years' experience in the energy industry, with expertise in program delivery, renewable procurements, and resource planning. His functional expertise includes operations, engineering, marketing, finance and risk management.
He has planned, designed, implemented, or supported programs in excess of $2.2 billion in aggregate budgets in jurisdictions across North America, including British Columbia, California, Washington, Oregon, Minnesota and Ontario.
Parminder founded and was chief executive officer of Canada's largest privately-held energy program implementation firm, which he sold and then retired from in December 2015. His career has focused on providing exceptional customer service, creating a positive organizational culture, and delivering results cost-effectively and prudently, which builds trust and reputation with all stakeholders.
In 2017, he was appointed the Chair of the Green Ontario Fund, an Ontario provincial agency with a mandate to leverage investments to fight climate change by investing $680M annually. In 2019, Toronto city council appointed Parminder Chair of The Atmospheric Fund, a $90M endowment from all three government levels focused on grant-making and direct investment in cleantech.
Mayuran has over 10 years of experience in the design and delivery of energy savings and GHG emission reduction programs. He has experience with working for government agencies, as a consulting lead and program lead at large consulting companies, running his own consulting practice and now as an executive overseeing programming at Enerva.
